Songwriters from across the country will gather on Florida’s Emerald Coast over Martin Luther King, Jr. weekend (January 13 - 15, 2012) for the third annual 30-A Songwriters Festival, produced by the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County. The event brings together talented songwriters and musicians from around the country to perform in unique venues amid a backdrop of brilliant white sand beaches, turquoise waters and stunning architecture. The three-day festival will feature more than 125 musicians and over 250 performances in venues ranging from intimate listening rooms to spacious outdoor amphitheaters all along Highway 30-A. Caliza Pool & Restaurant will be Alys Beach's featured venue. Headlining acts for 2012 include Indigo Girls, Rodney Crowell, The Bangles, Shawn Mullins, Sam Bush Band and Matthew Sweet.
