Welcome to the fifteenth edition of The Alys Journal. The month of December brings winter to our beaches, the closure of the year, and, above all, the festive warmth of the holiday season. Tree lightings and glittering decorations, Christmas music and hot cocoa around the fire, blazing sunsets over the Gulf, family and friends gathered around the table for a meal, the exchange of gifts and time well spent together; December holds a charm and sentiment of its very own.
