‘Noche de los Muertos’ Halloween Party Returns to Caliza

"DJ Harry" will return to Alys Beach on Friday, October 30th to perform at the 2nd annual Noche de los Muertos--or "Night of the Dead"--adult costume party and dance.
"Last year's Noche de los Muertos event was one of the biggest and best parties of the season," said Kelli Arnold, Events Coordinator for Alys Beach. "With DJ Harry returning, we expect attendance to be even higher this year, especially since we have $500 in prizes to award for the best costumes."
The Noche de los Muertos costume party will be held at Caliza Pool in Alys Beach, ran or shine, from 8 p.m. until Midnight. Cash bars will be available and costumes are required. The party is for guests ages 21 and older. Party tickets can be purchased for $20 online atwww.alysbeachevents.ticketleap.com, or at the door for $30. Major credit cards accepted.
On Friday, October 23rd, Alys Beach will also host the 3rd Annual Howl*O*Ween and Pet Parade benefiting Alaqua Animal Refuge. The fun family-and-pet-friendly event will be held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Fonville Press.
"Every year, people show up in costume with their four-legged friends and compete for the Best Owner Dog Duo Award," said Arnold. "The winners receive a goodie bag filled with all sorts of dog and human friendly goodies."
Raffle tickets for another goodie bag will also be sold to support Alaqua. Tickets are $5 each or five for $20. Cash or check only, please.
