Surrounded by serene layers of landscape and the exquisite architectural detailing of Alys Beach, ZUMA’s new Racquet Sports Facility boasts four pristine American Red Clay tennis courts, three pickleball courts, an activity lawn, restroom facilities, seating areas, and shaded viewing pavilions.
Tyler Marengo brings over a decade of experience as a tennis professional to Alys Beach, having spent the last six years as the Head Tennis Professional at Quail Valley Golf & River Club in Vero Beach, Florida. He began his coaching career at the esteemed TOPS'L Beach & Racquet Resort, working with a wide range of players and successfully leading local interclub and USTA teams. Before his professional career in Florida, Tyler was a standout player, winning a Michigan High School State Championship as a sophomore and going on to set the highest winning percentage in Ferris State University’s NCAA history. Tyler holds a degree in Professional Tennis Management, is a certified USPTA Elite Professional, and is a member of the Professional Pickleball Registry.
Cole's journey in racquet sports commenced with remarkable achievements, clinching the Georgia High School State Championship twice and securing a spot among the top 20 Juniors nationally. Continuing his passion for tennis, Cole pursued collegiate tennis at Georgia Tech and Baylor University, achieving a commendable top 75 ranking in NCAA Singles while earning a degree in corporate communication. Post-graduation, he seamlessly transitioned into coaching, dedicating two years to nurturing talent at various clubs and academies, showcasing his commitment to both the sport and its development.
