Alys Beach is pleased to announce plans for a Gulf-front beach club to open on property in Summer of 2020. Designed by Hart Howerton from San Francisco, and constructed by Birmingham-based Brasfield & Gorrie, the Alys Beach Club & Plaza will offer private amenities to homeowners, including multiple pools and spas, locker rooms, an open air sunset bar & lounge, game lounge, as well as a poolside bar and restaurant.

“This new phase of development is a pivotal moment for the town of Alys Beach, showcasing its growth and continued luxury offerings to our homeowners,” David Everett says. “We’re thrilled to welcome this highly anticipated new amenity and look forward to the grand opening.”

Situated at the bottom of South Somerset Street, the Alys Beach Club & Plaza will offer unrivaled views of the Gulf of Mexico, private beach access, ocean-side seating, and more than 41,000 square feet of space. To maximize views of the Gulf, the property’s design features rectangular terraces rising from south to north ensuring stunning water views from every point on the property.

In keeping with the iconic look of Alys Beach, the exterior design will include the iconic white stucco façade, architectural nods to Bermuda and Antigua, Guatemala, as well as a lush landscaping of native plants.

The project officially broke ground on November 27, 2018.
