Roll(in) down the street and join our NEAT team and Jon Newton of Castle & Key for Gin in June, a bespoke gin blending experience and three-course cocktail pairing dinner. We’ll go on a deep dive into the botanical world of gin to glean a deeper appreciation for this classic spirit with a complex profile, both in flavor innovation and history. Next, guests try their hands at crafting their own custom gins in a special C&K-led blending workshop. To follow, Alys Beach Culinary teams up with Alys Beach Beverage Manager, and mixologist in his own right, Austin Doiron to curate a dining experience that marries the flavors of seasonal, locally sourced ingredients with the thoughtfully crafted, expertly mixed spirits of Castle & Key.
ABOUT CASTLE & KEY
Castle & Key is a modern distillery with a storied past. Originally founded as The Old Taylor Distillery in 1887 by the bourbon legend Col. E.H. Taylor, the site fell to ruin after decades of neglect and almost entirely lost to time. In 2014, Castle & Key was rediscovered by an industry outsider, who purchased and began restoring the distillery with a vision of creating an immersive experience and reimagining the way Kentucky spirits are presented to the world.
