There is a pivotal moment in the latter part of the year where we all feel the beginnings of cooler weather. The breeze from the Gulf becomes a crisp greeting that encourages us to turn to the creature comforts of the season.

Some of David Magee’ fondest recollections are of his young children, years ago, running along the white-sand beaches of the Florida Gulf Coast. Hallie, Hudson, and William, all framed like a photograph within the innocence of youth and under the banner of an endless horizon that made all things feel possible. A core memory, dreamlike, almost.

It takes no time upon entering the Todd home to understand the adventurous nature of the lives they live. The Todds have traveled and resided all over the world and have had exposure to a wide variety of architectural and design styles. All of it comes together in their new home at Alys, which was designed by town architects Erik Vogt and Marieanne Khoury-Vogt with project manager, Jason Hill.
