Amenity Access Specialist

Alys Beach is seeking a Guest Services, Amenity Access Specialist who will be responsible for guest and homeowner amenity access credentials.  This position will implement and maintain a service philosophy that adheres to the Alys Beach brand.

$1,000 sign on bonus

Job Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome owners and guests in accordance with the Alys Beach service standards
  • Maintain professional telephone etiquette and correspondence via email with owners and guests
  • Create, maintain, and record amenity access credentials using Jonas computer system to ensure authorized guests or owners have appropriate access to the amenity outlets within existing amenity access usage policies
  • Encode amenity access cards to allow authorized owners and guests to open RFID gates to the amenity outlets
  • Answer owner and guest inquiries about services, facilities, restaurants, transportation, entertainment, hours of operation, etc.
  • Establish and maintain good communication and teamwork with fellow employees and other departments within Alys Beach
  • Develop relationships with owners and guests to provide personalized service
  • Cross-train to learn all Amenity Access Attendant Functions to offer the highest level of Guest Service.
  • Adhere to all service standards for department
  • Perform all duties assigned by Supervisor or Manager
  • Participate in and support Resort and company efforts toward sustainability and environmental initiatives as part of the company program
  • Maintain cleanliness of office and workstation

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to perform basic math functions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays

Essential Job Functions

  • Thorough understanding of Alys Beach amenity usage polices
  • Encode amenity access cards to allow authorized owners and guests to open RFID gates to the amenity outlets
  • Extensive use of Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Maintain proper operation of telephones and email correspondence while adhering to the Alys Beach service standards using clear, concise and professional grammar
  • Answer owner and guest inquiries about services, facilities, restaurants, transportation, entertainment, hours of operation, etc.
  • Develop relationships with owners and guests to provide personalized service
  • May require lifting of up to 30 pounds
  • Requires sitting for long periods of time in an office environment

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in a luxury resort environment
  • Experience in customer service positions
  • Experience in time management skills including follow-up procedures
  • Knowledge of Alys Beach and local area
  • Knowledge of Jonas & Maestro computer systems
