Maintenance Tech
Primary Responsibilities
- Primary function of the skilled maintenance person is assisting the Maintenance Department with the day-to-day operation of resort maintenance.
- Assist maintenance staff in making sure all work orders are completed in a timely fashion and with customer satisfaction
- Provide customer service to homeowners, guests, vendors, and co-workers
- Complete and turn in all paper work daily
- Work with homeowners on special projects
- Drive company truck and/or golf cart to perform assigned duties
- Perform other related duties as required or assigned
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- One year of experience in general maintenance
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing
- Ability to perform basic math functions
- Ability to use standard software applications
- Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds without assistance
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds with assistance
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to reach, bend, squat, and lift
- Possession of a valid driver’s license
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work rotating shifts
- Ability to work a longer than normal (8 hour) workday
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions with extended exposure to heat, sun, humidity, and cold
Preferred Skills
- One year of experience in plumbing, HVAC, electrical
